Memorial Day activities went exceptionally well this year. Thanks to the Honor Guard for their preparation and hard work. Also thank you to the Auxiliary for the luncheon that they provided.

A special THANK YOU goes out to Jen Rogers, wife of incoming Senior Vice Commander Cale Rogers, for her hard work in restoring the two “All American Post” signs that are located on the south and east corners of the building. They both look great. Thank you again Jen.

Our newly elected Post officers are officially in place as of June 1.

The June Steak Fry will be Saturday the 10th and is hosted by the Post this month. We always need volunteers to help with these events.

The June Post meeting will be held Thursday the 8th at 5:30 p.m. All members are encouraged and welcome to attend the monthly meetings.

The euchre continues to meet on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and is open to anyone.

Well, it looks like we finally have summer weather.

The Auxiliary will be having their monthly fish and shrimp fry Friday, June 2nd from 5:00-7:00p.m.

The Auxiliary will be holding their monthly meeting Thursday, June 15th @ 7:00. Please come out for the meeting because we need at least 5 people in order to hold a meeting. Thank you.

Keep an eye on the activities calendar. Please help when you can.

We are looking forward to getting new members and working with all of you at the different activities. With the new members and officers that joined the Post, the Auxiliary would welcome any eligible family members to join.

Great news! Our May meeting produced the final election for 2023-2024 Post officers. Our new Commander will be Richard (Pops) DeVoe with Lora DeVoe as 1st Vice Commander and Dan Boutell, 2nd Vice Commander. A full list will appear on the Post website very soon.

Our Combined Wall escort, from our post to downtown Baldwin, held on May 18 has to be counted as a huge success, despite the weather. They attracted approximately 170 bikes on a rainy morning. A big THANK YOU to all those that helped put it together and most especially to the bartenders who showed up so early in the morning.

Another THANK YOU to those that helped make Post 4250’s May Steak Fry a huge success.

Out regular monthly meeting is Tuesday June 6 at 7 p.m. All members are cordially invited.
