January was the coldest month for us since 2014. February is expected to be not as cold as normal, but it’s still Michigan.

Our United States flag were lowered to half staff in January to honor the death of former President Jimmy Carter.

The February Steak Fry will be on the 8th and is hosted by the AMVETS. They will be needing volunteers as normal.

The February Post meeting will be held on the 13th at 5:30 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend except maybe the snowbirds. The upcoming March meeting is first nominations for 2025-26 Post officers. As normal, we need officers to continues on as a VFW Post.

Cornhole tournaments are held on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Pool leagues are Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 1:30p.m.. Euchre starts at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and 6:60 p.m. on Fridays.

The Auxiliary will be having their monthly fish and shrimp fry on Friday, January 3rd..

We will also be hosting this months Steak Fry on Saturday January 11. Serving from 5-7 p.m.

We will be holding our monthly meeting Thursday, January 16 @ 7:00. Please come to the meeting because we need at least 5 people to hold a meeting. Thank you.

Keep an eye on the activities calendar. Please help when you can.

We are looking forward to getting new members and working with all of you on the different activities. With the new members and officers that joined the Post, the Auxiliary would welcome any eligible family members to join.
