The chicken dinners sold on the 22nd of March was a success with a sellout of dinners. Thank you to all who helped cook and put this dinner together and to Terry and Dar who donated the Chicken.

The VFW’s fourth annual Day of Service is May3. There are flyers on the tables explaining the cleanup in downtown Newaygo from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m..

The April Post meeting is Thursday the 10th at 5:30 p.m.. We will be doing nominations for 2025-2026 Post officers and the election. Swearing in takes place after the election and the new officers take over on June 1st. We encourage all members to attend the monthly meetings..

The April Steak Fry will be held Satuday the 12th from 5-7 p.m. and is hosted by tha Auxiliary.

Cornhole tournaments are being held on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Pool leagues are Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. Euchre starts at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and 6:30 p.m. on Fridays.

The next VFW District 12 meeting will be 6th of April at 11 a.m. at Post 7729 on apple Ave. Muskegon

The Auxiliary will be having their monthly fish and shrimp fry on Friday, April 4th.

We will also be hosting this months Steak Fry on Saturday April 12. Serving from 5-7 p.m.

We will be holding our monthly meeting Thursday, April 17 @ 7:00. Please come to the meeting because we need at least 5 people to hold a meeting. This month we will be holding elections of officers for 2025-2026

We are looking forward to getting new members and working with all of you on the different activities. With the new members and officers that joined the Post, the Auxiliary would welcome any eligible family members to join.
